About the Grit & Grace Cottage: A Charleston Airbnb

Located in Cannonborough, a charming neighborhood within the historic district, the Grit & Grace Cottage is steps away from Charleston’s beloved tourist attractions and best-kept local secrets.

We’ve filled our cozy, contemporary rental home with artisan details, personal touches, and locally made products, many of which are available for purchase during your stay!

The 2-bedroom, 2-bath space sleeps 6 and boasts a fully equipped kitchen and eat-in dining room, a study, a sofa bed, and reserved off-street parking - a must-have in Charleston’s bustling downtown.

You’ll also love the commissioned mural by local artist Natalie Taylor, which emulates our beautiful Lowcountry waterways.

Kick back in front of the large screen TV, work from home using the free WiFi and high-speed wireless internet, or lounge on the sofa with a volume from our curated library. The world is your oyster!

As for amenities, the Grit & Grace Cottage offers a washer and dryer, air conditioning and central heat, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cooking basics, a hairdryer, an iron, and a private entrance.

Charleston is a foodie’s playground, but with so many enticing options, it can be hard to decide where to start! Fortunately, fine dining is our favorite sport, so the Grit & Grace family is here to give you the lowdown on all the neighborhood gems.

If you’re hitting the ground running, make sure you start your day with coffee at Sight See Coffee, a colorful, travel-inspired retail store and coffee bar just steps away from the Grit & Grace Cottage.

Grab a breakfast pita or avocado toast at The Daily to keep the hanger at bay as you shop and sightsee on King Street.

Meet a friend for lunch at Malagon, but be sure they’re a friend who likes to share and won’t shoo your fork away. You’re going to want to order almost everything on the menu at this cozy neighborhood taperia.

Plan for a romantic dinner at The Grocery or Chez Nous, both within walking distance from your peaceful abode, or grab a pie to go from D'Allesandro's Pizza if you’re resting up and carb-loading before another big day of sightseeing.
